1247 - 27th August 1938.

Messrs. Rolls-Royce Limited,
Experimental Department,
DERBY.

Dear Sirs,

"M.M." PATENT DRAUGHTLESS VENTILATOR.

With further reference to your letter of the 8th inst., "Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies}6/JH", in view of the fact, which as before mentioned we were very pleased to note, that you are satisfied with the results obtained from our "M.M." Patent Draughtless Ventilator, we should esteem it a very great favour if you would let us know if you are prepared to fit this Ventilator to your future deliveries of cars, and to recommend their adoption to the body builders who may be building bodies for the chassis you supply to them.

This, as you will appreciate, would be of infinite assistance to us, and we trust the results you have obtained will justify your doing so.

We trust you will not consider we are taking too great a liberty in writing you in this manner.

Thanking you in anticipation for the favour of a reply,

We are, dear Sirs,
Yours faithfully,
FOR MEAD, McLEAN & CO. LTD.
