y4456 Exptl: Dept: Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., Derby. [text crossed out] 29th. June 1928. Messrs. B. Smith & Son, Midland Works, Bingley. Dear Sirs, With reference to your letter of the 28th.inst. We are returning to you under separate cover your Sanspareil Hand Brake Lever which you left with us about a month ago. We have no fault whatever to find with the operation of your brake lever. After careful consideration however we have come to the conclusion that as the hand brake lever is now on our chassis is used solely as a parking brake, any unnecessary complication in its design is unjustifiable. We have to thank you for allowing us to test this very interesting device. Yours faithfully, | ||
