To H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} c. to Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} 8634. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}7/KT.21.4.31. 110-GY. LORD ALLENDALE. The complaint of booming on this car is only in the front seats. we have had the car in the Expl. Dept and tried on it various cures. To be perfectly candid it does not respond well to the usual treatment. The boom is not very bad but we find it most persistent. we suggest that the extension piece over the front seats is what is really aggravating Lord Allendale, it does flap very badly as you pointed out in your memo. we recommend that this car should go to the coachbuilder to have this fault cured. If Lord Allendale still has a complaint after this alteration, we shall have to take further steps with the chassis. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
