Description of Parts: WATER CONNECTIONS (1) Connection from engine to radiator as 25/30 chassis - one hose and two clips, dispenses with Tee Nut union. (2) Rubber hose connections (both top and bottom) to be as supplied by Leyland & Birmingham Rubber Co. Ltd to Specification 1633K. Origin: (1) To save cost. (2) To avoid swelling, disintegration and general deterioration of this hose over long period of service, particularly if in contact with oil or grease. Report of Experimental Test: (1) Similar scheme now std. on 25/30 cars. (2) Similar hose run 20,000 miles satisfactorily on 35-EX car and will shortly have completed 10,000 miles on 6-B-IV and 3-B-IV cars in France.
