It is understood and agreed now and previously that the following could be improved :-

(1) X7580
Reduce the kit of tools to carry on the car, because of the weight, and the difficulty of finding stowing space. Only very shallow toolboxes on the running board can be allowed, and even these are undesirable.

It is far preferable that many of the seldom used tools be fitted into a small light toolbox and left in the owners' garage. Then when travelling abroad for long periods it should be made suitable for carrying like other luggage, say by being strapped on the runningboard. Will DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} kindly arrange this on our next experimental cars.

(2) X7580
It is also understood that the side lamps should be smaller than our old std., taking less current and being less glaring too on corners. I am obliged to pack mine with paper.

Personally I like the tiny lamps, and I now learn that Lucas's have something between.

(3) X4478
I am very definitely of the opinion that the only screen wiper to give any satisfaction is the electrically driven one, and since they are only used occasionally, their silence is ax of less importance than if always in use. Also, any trouble is dangerous.
