contd :- -2- on the present 40/50 operates throughout the whole range of the throttle. The governor on the EAC. in the maximum position only opens xxxx the throttle approximately one-fifth of the total range. The governor on the EAC. cannot be used for changing gear at high engine speeds. We have several modifications in hand to see whether the range of the governor could be increased on the EAC., but at the moment, the instructions for 'V' series cars as regards the governor are the same as on 44-PK car.
