S E C R E T. +8250 To C. from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Hsll/LG15.12.24. RADIATOR AND SHUTTERS. +A240 We have received a note from CJ. asking that we should supply a sample radiator fitted with nickel silver shutters made of the same material as the radiator. We understand that the Works are sending to London a 20 HP. radiator which will show this feature. The shutters are made from exactly the same material as the radiator. The reason we did not polish them on the EAC. sample radiator was because the shutters themselves were not a very good job - there were numerous bumps and dents in them. When they are polished, these reflect light and do not give a very good appearance. We should be pleased if you could let us know whether CJ. is satisfied when he examines the 20 HP. radiator which is being sent, or whether it is still necessary to complete the EAC.11. with polished shutters.
