Messrs. Amal Ltd.,
Perry Bar,
Birmingham.

For the attention of Mr. Soresby.

Dear Sirs,

Referring to our telephone conversation of to-day, in which the question of a loan of six motorcycle type carburetters was discussed, we are anxious to try out an experiment with these carburetters at the earliest possible moment, and would therefore prefer not to wait until Monday when your representative, Mr. Soresby, will call on us.

Instead, we should like him to bring the six carburetters with him, if this could possibly be arranged.

The description of the carburetters required is as follows :-

Six carburetters to be of same type as a set which we are at present using. These are 1935 Amal T.T. type twin float carburetters as used by Messrs. Rudge Whitworth, but of larger size to suit a 750 c.c. cylinder instead of a 500 c.c. cylinder.

We should like to thank you for your co-operation and prompt attention in this matter.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
