FORT DUNLOP ERDINGTON BIRMINGHAM Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., DERBY. 27th. October. 1926. For the attention of Mr. W.A. Robotham. Dear Sirs, We thank you for your letter of the 23rd instant, and with regard to the first two paragraphs of your letter, have asked our Sales side to send you information on these points, as they are in closer touch with what our Competitors are doing from day to day. You will quite appreciate that it is rather difficult to say what sizes are available as, of course, other tyre manufacturers periodically increase their range, and this is not brought to our notice immediately. Regarding the latter paragraph of your letter, in which you ask us whether we have made any experiments with heavy inner tubes, we have had so very few complaints of wheel wobble, that no experiments have been made in this direction. We should, however, be very interested indeed to see a demonstration of your road wheel drum testing rig, and hope that you will let us have an early notification of when we can see this experiment. Yours faithfully, For THE DUNLOP RUBBER CO., LTD. A.{Mr Adams} Healey Mr. Paull's Office. | ||
