NEW PHANTOMCodename for PHANTOM I. CONE ON LOW SPEED JET.

We have received a completed Standardization Sheet authorising us to alter the taper of the low speed jet cone from a taper of 1 in 6 to 1 in 7.5

The reason for the alteration is that the engine is likely to stop due to low speed jet weakness when the control on the steering column is put over to the "weak" side to obtain better economy.

This alteration should be brought in as quickly as possible. As the Spindle E.71744 cannot be altered to the new dimensions, we would like to know how many of these parts are finished. As soon as we receive the necessary information, we will instruct the Works when and where to bring in the new proposal.
