To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} c. to Hdy.{William Hardy} x 4694 328 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}26/KW.20.9.34. SpectreCodename for Phantom III Gearbox. We wish to try this gearbox in the Vulture car so that work can be done on it independent of other work on the SpectreCodename for Phantom III chassis. We realise this may mean alterations to the cross member supporting the front of the box and to the length of certain brake rods but consider these certainly worth doing. Will you therefore please fit this box to 29-EX and incorporate the new spiral angle for the front pair of reverse gears which Hdy.{William Hardy} is instructing, so that we can carry out road and dynamometer tests.
