2. experimental and that we are taking steps to have a suitable number of regular production moulds made up. Before finally cutting we wish, however, to submit to you for your approval this slightly modified Tyre. It is our intention to cut the moulds with these irregular spaced buttons which you seem to prefer, conforming exactly to the Tyre which you have already tested, but to give effect to these slight modifications of centre and shoulder ribs and angle of grooves which are incorporated in the particular Tyres which we sent to you for your attention by passenger train yesterday. In order that we may get on with the preparation of the necessary equipment we should be much obliged if you would, at the earliest possible moment after receipt of the Tyres (and we presume that you will wish to test them) state whether you are agreeable to the slight modifications in the Tyre which will be standardised for the Chassis above referred to. Yours faithfully, INDIA TYRE & RUBBER CO.(GREAT BRITAIN) LTD. H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} Chaplin General Sales Manager. | ||
