Contd. -2- Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/LG31.8.26. The dampers counterbalance the increased tendency for wobbles with the lower pressures, and the improved pivot arrangement on the lightened axle reduces the effort required to steer the car at low speeds with larger tyres. At first, we might offer the low pressure tyres as an alternative to customers. They could be definitely recommended for the carriage type of car because the only disadvantage we know of which is likely to occur with low pressure tyres is in the region of 60 m.p.h. It is interesting to note that the Michelin Company make a tyre 6.2" section which will fit on the Dunlop well base rims. This helps considerably with the question of available spares.
