CONTROLLABLE SHOCK DAMPERS. -------------------------------- With reference to C.8/0/9.11.33. providing we can issue instructions to the Works immediately, the controlling device and the necessary modifications can be introduced on the first chassis in R.2. series. The Experimental Department propose to issue a standardisation sheet towards the end of the present week, but the Works will not be able to keep their promise if we wait until the sheets are signed up, therefore if the controlling device is to be introduced at the above point, no doubt we shall be advised accordingly.
