Dear Sirs, Re Petrol Filters.

We have now had an opportunity of going into this question and we find that the position suggested is quite impossible for the standard Coupe bodies owing to the doors not being cut through to the steps.

Although the position on the Saloons can be arranged it will materially weaken our structure and for this reason we do not think it advisable.

We would suggest putting the filter inside the frame directly in front of the side shock damper where it would be easily accessible by lifting out the seatboard. We think also that this would be the position for it on the Phantom III chassis.

Yours faithful y,
FOR PARK WARD & CO. LTD.

(SIGNED) N.A.THOMPSON.

P.S. Explanatory drawings are enclosed showing the proposed position of the filter which will make clear to you the reason why it is not suitable. We have also indicated the position which we think is most suitable.

Enclos.
