DERBY.

Dear Grylls,

Ex.people. I have a Car which I think might be of interest to you. Its history is as follows :

An old client of mine, Mr.Tevis, cabled me to buy for him and import from America direct under triptyque the latest 12-cylinder Packard. On his arrival in England he found that he would not be staying long enough to have any use for the Car, consequently it has done about 1,000 miles and, I think, could be bought for about £650 to £700. The actual cost landed here a few weeks ago, including all fittings, was about £1,000. It has not paid duty. Naturally it is a difficult Car to sell here as it has left-hand steering, but the engine from the point of view of quietness is really magnificent.

Before offering it to the "rogues," it occurred to me that it might interest you people.

Hoping the Talbot is still in one piece and with best regards,

Yours sincerely,

F.L. Manning
