Dear Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer},
I have asked Bn.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} to raise the question with Evernden about the car weights, but for your information and file the following is the position:-
4.B.IV.
Weighs complete 3723 lbs. and includes new standard saloon, standard size boot, but special dropping luggage carrier.
Petrol tank full, but the two front seats are special and Park Ward's allege are 30 lbs. less than standard seats.
Lap speed 88.94 M.P.H.
Bn{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington}'s Car.
Old standard saloon, plus wireless, spare wheel metal cover, full petrol tank, weighs 3526 lbs., a difference of 197 lbs.
Lap speed 89.74 M.P.H.
