To improve starting. Experimental Test Report. We have had pilot jets fitted to cars for twelve months. The advantages with the pilot jet are - (1) No pumping required. (2) Engine can be kept running when started up cold. Road Test Report. Fitted to 1.EX 6000 miles. Fitted to 6.EX 3000 miles. Fitted to Riveria trials cars 1922.
