1029 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale}5/MH.{M. Huckerby} Messrs. The Automotive Products Co. Ltd., 12th. October 1937. Tachbrook Road, Leamington Spa. For the attention of Mr. Parnell. Dear Sirs, We shall be much obliged if you would send us prints of the 1" dia. Barrel Type Master Cylinder, shown on sheet 2 of your catalogue, and of the 1 1/4" dia. wheel cylinder shown on sheet 11. These prints would be useful to us in preparing some scheme drawings. Are we correct in assuming that you claim a 50% brake torque increase for your slotted shoe over a normal Lockheed layout ? We shall be interested to have further details of these shoes, if any are available, or a drawing of a 12" dia. assembly. Yours faithfully, for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
