Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} -3- Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}6/06/2/31 All these bodies are of the 6-seater full-size Pullman limousine type. 14-0-4. We note that this weighs only 8 cwt. 3 qrs. 5 lbs, and we are surprised that it weighed as much as it was quite unuseable; there was insufficient room even in the front seat for two ordinary sized people to sit without discomfort. I have quoted these various body weights to show that Coachbuilders are trying to get weight down and their bodies are not really so heavy inasmuch as the issue is so often confused by this inclusion of accessories, and naturally we cannot prevent customers fitting these - we can only do our best to persuade them.
