Dear Mr. West,

Many thanks for your letter of the 13th instant under reference Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.5/JH. and I had a further chat in this connection with Major Cox. As a result Mr. Sidgreaves' car is being sent to us on Monday in order that we may make a thorough examination of the installation.

I personally am not on the technical staff. I am therefore having Mr. Hornby and my chief mechanic Mr. Newton go over the whole job, but in the meantime I have asked Mr. Hornby to ring you to get your views before we commence.

After we have satisfied ourselves I will then arrange for both the above to visit you and if I can possibly manage it I will also attend, in order to discuss thoroughly the question of installations.

Confidentialy, I do not want to arrange at any fixed plans with you at the moment, since we shall have fresh news for you in six or eight weeks.

Yours truly,

Manager
CAR RADIO DIVISION.
