Dear Sirs, We beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter of the 6th inst, and regret that we were not able to complete the fitting of the Hydraulic Jacks in the time available. If, however, you will send the car to Cricklewood during next week we will complete the job, this will occupy about four hours. Owing to the position of the front of the radiator we were unable to use the type of bracket which we designed for the front axle, but we were able to rigidly attach the jacks by another means, although rather forward of the position chosen originally. The jacks will go about 1" nearer the axle on the present Phantom II. We should be much obliged if you would let us know when it will be convenient for you to send the car here. Yours faithfully, for S. SMITH & SONS (MOTOR ACCESSORIES) LTD. [Signature] TO AVOID DELAY ALL ENVELOPES SHOULD BE ADDRESSED TO THE FIRM. | ||
