..Very many thanks indeed for yours of the 20th September, giving me the information regarding Octane number and engine rating.

It is exactly what I require and it is very good of you to have gone to all this trouble.

I understand from Fossett that you are running a 50 hours test on 87 Octane fuel with "lead" and I will take the liberty of ringing you on Saturday morning to see if it is convenient for me to come up and have a look at the inside of the engine after test.
