WESTMINSTER LONDON S W I REFERENCE OTJ. 18th September 1937 S. H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} Grylls Esq., Rolls Royce Limited, DERBY. Dear Mr. Grylls, Replying to your letter of the 11th instant, it would be very difficult to determine, at any rate with an ordinary E.P. Testing Machine, the relative values of lubricants with and without the Sulphur as mentioned. I will ask our people to have test carried out, but our belief is that the sulphur is a very important factor. Unfortunately the Testing Machines are not a very accurate guide, so that the results which I hope to obtain for you would still want confirmation by practical tests on the gears themselves. Yours sincerely, O.{Mr Oldham} T.
