X967 ROY.{Sir Henry Royce}2/AC.7.2.22. As you are aware we are developing our sale of Lubricants, and Prices have made a request that we give them an undertaking to draw our requirements of such Lubricants from them over the ensuing 12 months in consideration of very special terms they have offered us. B.J. thinks there is a possibility of our landing in trouble should we give such an undertaking, i.e. Prices might start producing bad lubricants, or some Lubricant more better suited for our engines might be put on the market. Would you kindly consider this matter, and we will have a word on same shortly. Obviously Prices will not give us such special terms or go to the expense of preparing specially decorated tins for our trade, unless they have some reasonable assurance from us that the business is for a period. I think for their reputations sake they will use every endeavour to maintain quality and keep abreast of the times. ROY.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
