BRAKES.

Due to the excellent efforts made in the Works and in the Experimental Dept., we have had a car on test today fitted with the M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} DES.60 scheme of brakes.
Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}'s promise was that it would be ready for test on the 26th.
Although this is considered a mock-up scheme, it is practically a duplicate of the production. It has the latest gearbox casting and servo parts that have been instructed.
The brakes on this car are working very well. The braking effect and effort required is very similar to the car which we took to Le CanadelHenry Royce's French residence.
The roads today have been wet and greasy. This has shewn up that there is definitely more braking at the back which tends to make the car skid round if the brakes are applied at all hard.
