Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.13/AP.14.12.36.

CONTINENTAL PHANTOM III. LIGHTENED RADIATOR.

We wish to run this radiator with the Continental engine on the test bed before it is fitted to the car. Will you therefore, hand us the matrix unit (matrix, top and bottom tanks and fittings), complete with steam valve, inlet pipes and filler cap etc. fitted, before this unit is fitted to the complete radiator. We should like to receive this unit as soon as possible after the Continental Ph.III. engine goes on test. The steam valve and complete radiator should be tested for air tightness up to 10 lbs. sq.in.

We shall then carry out our tests and hand the unit back to you for fitting into the complete radiator. If this is likely to delay the Continental chassis at all, the latter can have a standard radiator fitted for purposes of body and wing fitting.
