6-B-IV.

The Design Dept. have decided not to send us the drawings of the new axle control for the Bentley. The reasons for this are, firstly, urgency of work on Wraith, and secondly, that they hope independent suspension will be available before the new scheme of axle control can be fully tested.

On 6-B-IV will you therefore please fit the standard production type of front axle control, but make the journal bushes and thrust washers of case-hardened steel instead of bronze.
