LONDON.N.W.10.

Dear Ward,

We have been investigating the weights of 12.B.V. and 1.R.1. bodies.

We find that 1.R.1. is no less than 1 cwt. heavier than 12.B.V.

We are concerned about the weight of 2.R.2. that you are at present building, and should be glad if you would make an endeavour to keep it down at least to that of 12.B.V. Actually, being smaller, this last body should be appreciably lighter.

Yours sincerely,
