INDIA TYRE & RUBBER COMPANY LTD. TELEPHONES: PAISLEY 4141/5. TELEGRAMS: INDIAOWL, RENFREW. INCHINNAN SCOTLAND OUR REF. HSC/JT YOUR REF. 30th July 1934. Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., DERBY. For attention of Experimental Department. Dear Sirs, With further reference to our letter of the 27th inst. we now have pleasure in informing you that we confidently expect to be able to ship an experimental set of Colonial type Tyres to you by Passenger train on the 7th August. This should enable those Tyres to be fitted to Mr. Robotham's car before he starts on his tour of Scotland. We would like to draw Mr. Robotham's attention to the fact that Inchinnan is only some ten miles to the west of Glasgow and should his road take him, either coming or going, across Erskine Ferry he will pass in close proximity to our Factory. While we do not wish to make any suggestion which might be inconvenient for Mr. Robotham to fall in with it would be a matter of great satisfaction to us if he could find time to visit us during the time he will spend in Scotland. Yours faithfully, INDIA TYRE & RUBBER CO. LTD. [Signature] General Sales Manager. | ||
