LÉVY [STAMP: AWC/EMW RECEIVED 1 JAN 1925] Dec. 31st 1924. Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., DERBY. Dear Sirs, Re - Issuing of Triptyque or International Travelling Pass. ---------------------------------- We are in receipt of your favour of the 30th inst., ref. D/BP/GW, and we beg to inform you that you are correct in assuming that we have a Scheme for the temporary importation of Cars for touring purposes into France similar to the arrangements made by the R.A.C. This is explained in the enclosed "brochure". The most important thing is the Bank guarantee, which has to be made out by the customers Bank (in French) and addressed to Barclays Bank, Paris. This document has to be lodged with us, and should be for 65% of the value of the Car in francs, and we can send you, if required, a specimen of the form of guarantee. It is also necessary for us to be in possession of full particulars of the Car, and we enclose a form which, when completed, gives us this information. An International Travelling pass is also required, and this, as you know, is obtainable from the R.A.C. or the A.A. The oval G.B. Plate and the Ivorine Dashboard Plate are also required. We also have to know the length of stay in France. The Bank guarantee should be in our possession several days before the departure of the Car from England. If there is any other informatio-n you should require, please let us know, and we Notice is hereby given that all goods are conveyed entirely at owner's risk, and we will not be responsible for delay, damage, theft or pilferage | ||
