Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/PD.10/JH. 604 30th December, 1937. Messrs. Park Ward & Co.Ltd., 473, High Road, Willesden, LONDON.N.W.10. For the attention of Mr. Thompson. Dear Sirs, We are sending the two front wings off 29.G.VI with the altered frontal appearance, which Mr. Evendon has described to you, by our lorry, arriving at your Works Monday midday. It should not take long for you to alter your jig to suit this modification, and we are hoping that by the time our man has delivered his load elsewhere you could arrange to have the wings ready for him to bring back to Derby the same day. We shall be very grateful if you can accomodate us in this matter. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
