PROPOSED LENGTH 4.00". Origin. To reduce front braking. Drawing No. G.75413 Part List X No. 8430 A Scrap and replace at all costs, including Chassis already delivered to Customers. B Scrap and replace on Chassis in Works. C Scrap present stock and replace on all Chassis not yet handed to test. D Use existing stock Alteration effective on future Chassis. Experimental Test Report. This alteration to the lever length reduces the percentage braking to the front to 33%. The present front braking is 40% of the total. Road Test Report. This alteration is considered desirable to prevent the steering being affected when braking on corners. It can be applied retrospectively if considered desirable. Weight of Old Part.
