CONTROL PINS. E1/M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} 20.4.25.

It is not possible to control the size of the holes in the lever ends and the diameter of the pins to ensure a press fit, as the pins are produced on automatics, and a limit of .002 is essential.

We are at present solid rivetting the pins, thereby filling out the holes.

We would of course prefer the taper fit you propose to revert to, as we feel that this is the only way of obtaining an excellent job.
