the very fine limit required. The material after heat treatment is over 70 tons per square inch, and as it is, the cost of Broaching, even to the limits we get now, is very high indeed.

In our Works, we find it necessary on some occasions (although these occasions are few), to drive a ball down the inner tube to slightly increase the diameter of the same, before driving on the Cam.

You may rest assured that we will do our utmost to supply you with Cams as correct in this respect as we possible can, but we do feel that there would be no object in promising you what our experience has shown us to be very difficult to obtain.
