Mr Royce Re Exhaust Pipe to rear of chassis suit-able for large as well as small Petrol Tanks. I send you herewith Mr Elliott's scheme in which he brings the exhaust pipe at the side of the tank instead of under it. It does not appear to me to be good practice to support this pipe from the petrol tank itself and it would also appear to be advisable to take the outlet still further to the rear in order that a light coloured tank may not be black-ened. I am sending this through how-ever as it stands because I now under-stand from Mr Elliott that it is necess-ary to do something which will enable big tanks to be fitted for series 2200, which parts should be ordered up immed-iately.
