X9940 Mr. D'Aeth. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} RHS. BY9/H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 19. 5. 24. BOLTS ON OUTER DIAMETER OF CARRIER FOR FRICTION PLATES COUPLING SAME UP TO CONE DISC DRIVEN FROM THE END OF THE SERVO. Mr. D'Aeth has pointed out to me that the latest designs only have four quarter bolts on the outer diameter, instead of eight. Since in all the previous servos we have tested, we have had eight, I do not propose at this stage to introduce something which is again experimental, and possibly wrong, and therefore would like Mr. D'Aeth to depart from the LeC. by using eight bolts on the later design, so as to make same consistent with what we have done previously.
