Dear Mr. Palmer,

With reference to yours of the 1st inst.

It is very unfortunate that at the present time, we find ourselves in precisely the opposite position to yourselves.

Whereas you have the necessary men available, the job here is not available.

It just happens that the work concerning your carburetter has had to be shelved for a week or two, to make way for more urgent work - Motor Show, etc.

It is very useful to have your valuable information available, and we appreciate your kind offer. Also, we hope to make full use of them later.

As you know, the development of points such as those we have discussed, demands undivided attention.

I will write to you again at a later date.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
