Sch. 2734, I am afraid the proposal to return to the Woodhead clip involves us in a real difficulty, but we/will have to endeavour to negotiate with Woodhead to obtain a license to use this form on springs produced at Firths. Secondly, the centres for the clip holes are obviously too close together. You have overlooked the fact that the plate which slides past the bolts has to miss the corners of the nuts, so that the centres will have to be increased by .375". BY.{R.W.
