Promises are required for the following. EB.4848 C'Shaft promised by Shardlows for 1st week in July. EB.4833 Camshaft. EB.4847/8 Conn.Rod and Caps. We anticipate passing to test by the 2nd week in July. Miscellaneous. All Helical Gear Boxes. 3 Overdrive Boxes instructed. 3 Standard Ratio Boxes instructed. The three Overdrive boxes are completed, the three std. standard ratio boxes, one of the latter is required for 30.G.VII, in connection with 30,000 miles trials. All these boxes are to be completed by mid June. Phantom III Steering. Strengthened Pendulumn Lever F.89869 and F.89870 Rocking Shaft are urgently required for fitment to 35-Ex. also a set for W.Bell's test rig. LK.{L. King} promised to complete by 17.6.39. B.80 Induction Pipes ECD.1292 BE.3/2. Details instructed 20.4.39. EB.4835 Induction pipe. EB.4838 Induction pipe. EB.4836/9 Risers. Castings now in operation - AG. to give promise of completion at the next meeting. In addition to the above, we require a further 3 sets to EX.S.1217 instructed 16.5.39 (BE.3) Lightened Bentley Front Pan.
