S/W. 9/3/26 #5 X8410 Cx{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}2/LR{Mr Ellor}/8. 3. 26. Re - Chassis 4-YG. This car has been returned to you in order that you may investigate the excellence of the suspension. I would just like to mention that we are endeavouring to sell this car and have a very interested prospective purchaser who has already tried it in its present form. We hope therefore that you are not doing anything to alter the excellence of the springs of this car, and understand that it is merely sent to you for investigation with a view to seeing why the springing is so good. Will you please therefore let me know by return when you will return this car to us in London and if it will be in the same condition as when you received it. Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} [Signature] [Handwritten note at bottom] Prospective purchaser now has an option on this car. [Stamps visible] RECEIVED Purple triangle stamp | ||
