To Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}

Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2/AD9.9.30.

24-EX - 10,000 MILE TEST.

Replying to Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}23/E1.9.30. 24-EX has been compared for performance with a standard car, and on the roads available up to 65 m.p.h. it is equal to a standard car. Before it went to France we tested it on Brooklands, it lapped at 77 m.p.h. This car has no exhaust cutout, it may be 1 to 2 m.p.h. short at maximum speed. The petrol tank had the reserve compartment, this may have led PN.{Mr Northey} to misread the gauge. Most of the other points are replied to in our memo Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1/AD9.9.30.
