20/25 HP. CHASSIS - HEAVIER FLYWHEEL.

With further reference to the heavier type flywheels which the Works have been producing by leaving on as much metal as the forgings will permit, Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} now reports that after carrying out tests with one of these flywheels he finds that although there is some improvement there is no disability.

In view of the above, therefore, will you please now issue instructions to the Works to continue producing the heavier flywheels until the existing forgings have been used up.

For 'G'&'H' series the flywheel forgings should be held up for the time being.

We presume Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} will let us know as soon as possible as to which flywheels should be ordered for the new series.
