Mt. Sidney of Hampstead who has long been an enthusiastic owner of Rolls-Royce cars when writing recently a most appreciative letter in respect of two new 20 H.P. Rolls-Royce cars he had bought, said there were two small details which were the cause of considerable irritation to him as an owner-driver.

1. Was that the arrangement for emptying the oil from the crank case now entailed the use of a split-pin and nut which were highly inconvenient - and -

2. The petrol tank cap was in no way attached as previously, to the tank, and he found that there was a distinct tendency to omit to fit the cap on to the tank after filling up with petrol.

I promised to let him know whether we had any sound reason for making these changes from the previous type. Will you please let me have your remarks.
