X819 FJ TELEPHONE No. GERRARD 1654. 15, CONDUIT STREET, LONDON, W. Grand Hotel Neues Kurhaus, Levico, South Tyrol. Sept. 6th., 1912. Mr. Barrington, Derby. In my London-Edinburgh car, ahe footboards are still far too hot and the water boils under the slightest provocation. Some time ago I asked that there should be fitted to all London-Edinburgh cars openings, funnels which would catch the wind and admit it behind the dashboard, and which may be closed. See sketch plan, attached. Do you know whether these have been fitted to the London-Edinburgh cars which have recently been turned out, and if so, with what success ? Please have these openings included in the drawings of the London-Edinburgh cars and instruct Sales. pp. C Johnson. [Illegible Signature] [Stamp: SEP 17 1912] [Faint Watermark: Tony Wove] | ||
