The Burgess Products Company,

Dear Sir,

I am in receipt of 2 air filters, one gauze and one cellulose fibre type, for which I thank you very much. At the moment we intend to use these filters for experimental purposes, but we would like you to send us at your earliest convenience one or two filters of the same construction and dimensions as the fibre one, but using the American type of metallic wool, such as that fitted to the Chrysler type of air silencer.

We feel that as the metallic wool is so widely used by the American people we should feel safer in using it, until such time as we have been able to prove for ourselves the value of the cellulose fibre.

Thanking you once again for the prompt manner in which you have treated our enquiries.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
