BY {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} /HEB {H. Biraben} 10/M.12.11.28.

PHANTOM & 20-HP. CHASSIS.

RE CONTINUING TO FIT ENOTS LUBRICATORS TO FRONT AND REAR SPRINGS.

Referring to our BY {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} /HEB {H. Biraben} 7/M.10.11.28, wherein we issued drawing of Plug F.79794, which we instructed to be produced and fitted on both Front and Rear Spring Gaiters for 20-HP. and Phantom Chassis.

We have since received instructions from BY. {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} reference BY14/G.12.11.28, to the effect that the Enots Lubricators are still to be fitted to the Gaiters. Plug F.79794 is therefore cancelled, and the drawing we have fetched back from the O.P. Dept.

The Road Springs however are to be treated with Lanoline and wrapped with paper and tape, this means that Roy. {Sir Henry Royce} should order up the Wax Paper and Insulation Tape as mentioned in our previous memo.
