The car had to return to-day owing to the rear brakes not releasing after applying the brakes. It was discovered that a stone had been flung and had jammed between the cross frame and the brake counter shaft which would not allow the return of the levers. A simple guard could be fitted which would prevent this happening. Enclosed is sketch of counter shaft. ------------------ Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH.{George W.
