SHOCK ABSORBERS FOR 40/50 CHASSIS. X 4426

Referring to your EJB/H17.12.21. It is possible, by the nature of the customers' complaint, to decide whether Hartford Shock Absorbers will satisfy him. For instance, if a customer complains of swaying and sickness, it would not be much use changing his thick leaf springs for other thick leaf springs; the obvious cure for that would be to fit Hartford Shock Absorbers. If a customer complains of a car bouncing and jaggering when the brakes are applied, Hartford Shock Absorbers are the best cure we know of.

With the addition of Hartford Shock Absorbers, we are sure we can reproduce the effect of thin leaf springs.

We have on order 5 pairs of Shock Absorbers; it has been arranged that these shall be fitted to customers cars on which we have complaints of springing.
