Rolls-Royce Ltd., Nightingale Road, DERBY. For the attention of Mr. Martindale. Dear Sirs, We have forwarded today under separate cover on the instructions of Mr. Woodhead, one leaf cadmium plated, for your inspection. This leaf was not sand blasted in any way, but was just cleaned and cadmium plated to see exactly what sort of a finish we should get. Our price for Cadmium Plating your springs 2" wide would be 3/0d. each spring for the bright cadmium plated, and 2/6d. each spring for the unpolished cadmium plated. This you will observe is a considerable reduction on our previous estimate of 5/6d. per spring. After you have examined the sample, perhaps you will let us have your remarks as to its suitability etc. Yours faithfully, For TOLEDO WOODHEAD SPRINGS LIMITED. A.{Mr Adams} Spittlehouse | ||
